The Center for Dental Health & Cosmetics is dedicated to using only the best materials for our patients.  We offer the same quality of materials and lab work as provided in the United States for much less.  We are able to offer this benefit to our patients because we do not have the same overhead costs U.S. dentists have, therefore, allowing us to pass on the savings to our patients. 

Dental Supplies: what they are and where do we get them from.

Dentists and dental assistants use many different types of materials daily in order to run a safe and quality practice.  For example, every time a dentist sees a patient he/she puts on a new pair of gloves and places a new bib on the patient’s chest.  When a dentist needs to perform work on a patient he/she uses anesthesia.  And when a dentist fills in a cavity he/she uses white resin.  All of our supplies are provided by Bio Medi Co dental supply house in El Paso, TX.

Dental Laboratory: what it is and who do we use.

When a patient sees a dentist for a fixed prosthesis, such as a crown, bridge or even a veneer, the dentist takes an impression of the patient’s mouth which she then sends out to a dental laboratory. It is in the dental laboratory where the prosthesis (tooth) is made according to the patient’s impression. After completion, the dental laboratory sends the prosthesis back to the dentist where she then cements the prosthesis in the patient’s mouth.

For our dental laboratory work, we use The Smile Design Studio located at 6216 Gateway East, El Paso, TX 79925. All of our permanent, cosmetic, dental work is done here, and in fact, patients may even be required to visit it in order to guarantee a successful case.
